The OOTD:

Wearing: Fourteenth Place Top (Marshalls), AE Jeggings, Target Wedges (last year - similar)
Geneva Platinum watch (last year - similar), Kate Spade bracelet
I can't tell you how long I've been looking for a cobalt top like this!

Okay...maybe I can.

And the answer is roughly two Google searches a year for the past three years.

I finally found it!

And you know where? During that Marshall's shopping trip I was telling you about. Woohoo! (#EverythingHappensForaReason)

I paired this top with my go-to brand for jeans (you know... the brand I wear in almost every blog post...)

Then I dusted off the ol' perfect black wedges I scooped up at Target last year and called it an outfit.

You've got to love that summer night outfits can really as easy as a sleeveless blouse, dark denim, and cute wedges. Minimal effort but full impact? Yes, please!

The Pretty Thing:

So why was I getting all doll'ed up, you may ask?

When my parents visited, I really wanted to take them to the top of the CN tower but reallyyy didn't want to wait in that long line again. (Lesson seriously learned!

So instead I made an early reservation to eat dinner at their 360 Restaurant.

 And, you know what?

I was totally expecting cheesy and mediocre but ended up with quality views, quality food, and quality time with my parents and B.

My memories from that night still give me all the warm fuzzies so that's certainly a pretty thing to celebrate :).

And because I love this man and this photo so much, I figured this could be a bonus beautiful favorite this week ;).

The MOTD:

INNER 1/2 LID: Charming (similar), OUTER 1/2 LID: Kill Joy (similar), CREASE: UD Naked,  BROWBONE: Ball Gown (similar), LINER: Linear Intense, MASCARA: Voluminous and Push Up Drama, BROWS: Brow Stylist Definer, BRONZER: Lush-Light Bronze (similar), BLUSH: Fantasy, HIGHLIGHT: Angelic (similar), LIPS: Smooch

For said night on the town, I wanted classic and fun so we had to go full blown smokey eye :).

Smokey eyes don't necessarily mean super complicated, though. This look is so simple that I'm positive you can recreate it with just four shadows you probably already own!

I'm still having lots of fun playing with the Cinderella Storylook palette. So for this look I mainly used Charming and Kill Joy.

To re-create this look with what you own, start by blending a medium brown shade into your crease as the transition shade. Then blend a dark gray shade into the outer half of both your lid and crease with a fluffy blending brush.

Next, place a shimmery vanilla shade on the inner half of your lid and crease with a flat shader brush. Blend, blend and blend more so the vanilla and gray shades blend softly into each other.

Finish the eyes with a shimmering white shadow on the brow bone, a little liner, and lots of mascara!
