But don’t they just make every look so classic and pulled together?!
Pair a white t-shirt and blue jeans? It says, “Oh hey. I’m girl-next-door chill.”
Pair a white t-shirt and white jeans? It says, “I’m so chic and confident.” (Because yes, I have heart-to-hearts with my closet on a regular basis :)).
It’s funny too because as chic as it looks, pairing an all neutral outfit is just so easy!
Gray just goes with white just goes with cream. So yes, give me all of the white jeans for easy and sophisticated outfits, please!

And, okay, let’s address the elephant in the room.
Yes, I’m still wearing a cardigan and booties...
Yes, it’s now June….
I know, I know. #InsertCanadaBeingColdJokeHere
But you know what? If that means I also get to skip over those sweltering days where your clothes stick to you in 5 minutes or less, then I will gladly take every June cardigan in sight!

The Pretty Thing:
Truth? I have no idea what kind of flowers these are.
I found them wandering around Austin a couple of weeks ago and stood for probably about five minutes just smelling these beauties.
Based on my super-specific google search of “tall purple flowers”, I’m thinking these might be lavender? (If you know, please let a gal know in the comments!)
What I do know is they made my eyes smile and so they were too pretty not to share :).

Who else has a love affair with classic makeup and old Hollywood glamour? ::raises hand real high::
Ava, Elizabeth (because any true fan knows she hated being called Liz!), Katherine, Marilyn, Audrey...#girlcrushswoon!
So here’s my everyday take on the long-loved look: Classic black liner, full lashes, pink lips and soft waves.

I still stand by last week’s tip, though. No matter what look you’re going for, an even complexion makes the perfect canvas to keep the rest of your makeup soft and simple.
Liquid liner is my liner of choice. I've given a solid go to both pencil and gel liners and both really do create beautiful looks. Frankly, I pretty much stick with liquid because it's so much easier to keep my eye open when I’m putting it on.
As for the lips, I highlyyyyy recommend this lipstick. I’m such a fan of the Maybelline Color Sensational line so I knew when I scooped up Blushing Bud a couple of years back, it'd become a makeup collection staple. This shade has the perfect amount of pigmentation for an everyday pink lip.
What Else?
Now tell me - what looks are classic to you?
White Jeans? Liner and pink lips? Something else?
